Each design is commercially printed on 100% cotton fabric, making it easy to cut out, write on, and sew onto finished quilts, blankets, wall hangings, memory quilts, and handmade gifts.

This panel includes a variety of customer-favorite quilt label sayings, including sweet, heartfelt, funny, and classic handmade quilt messages. The labels are designed to look like our personalized quilt labels, but without printed personalization, giving makers the flexibility to use them whenever inspiration strikes.

How to Use

Cut out the label you would like to use, write your personalization in the blank area, then sew the label onto your quilt or handmade project.

For best results, use a permanent fabric marker or archival-quality fabric pen and allow the ink to dry completely before sewing or washing.
  • Cotton Labels: Backed with HeatnBond Featherlight. Temporarily holds label in place while sewing. To reduce fraying, fold edges under before stitching.

  • Polyester Labels: Trim and sew directly onto your quilt. Optional to fold edges under—extra fabric is included for that.
  • Cotton Labels: Wash on delicate with cold water. Hang to dry or use a low setting. Avoid high heat to preserve print. Not fully colorfast.
  • Polyester Labels: No special care needed. Machine washable, fade-proof, and long-lasting.

The number of labels included on each sheet depends on the design. The product variants will explicitly state the number of sheets and how many labels that will be.

All of our labels are different sizes depending on the design. Check the product description for specific label dimensions.

Cotton labels have a classic quilting cotton feel — soft, thin, and easy to sew by hand or machine. They come with HeatnBond Featherlight backing that temporarily holds the label in place while you stitch. Great for heirloom, bed, or display quilts.

Polyester labels are thicker with a soft, fuzzy feel (not a quilting cotton look). They're printed with permanent sublimation ink that won't fade or wash off, ever. No backing included — just trim and sew. These are built for quilts that get washed a lot, like baby or kids' quilts.

Your quilt labels will be printed on an 8.5" x 11" sheet ready for you to cut.

Both the cotton and polyester labels can be sewn directly onto your quilt, but there are a few tricks depending on your label material.

  • Cotton Labels: Backed with HeatnBond Featherlight. Temporarily holds label in place while sewing. To reduce fraying, fold edges under before stitching.
  • Polyester Labels: Trim and sew directly onto your quilt. Optional to fold edges under—extra fabric is included for that.

Fill out the personalization field before you add your label to cart. Different labels have different personalization options. There will be a field for each line on the label that can be personalized. Please check your entry carefully, as the personalization will be printed exactly as it is entered.
