Description
Description
Add a heartfelt finishing touch to your handmade baby quilt with this sweet personalized label. Each label reads:
“All of God’s grace in one tiny face”
and includes the maker’s name below in a beautiful script font.
Each sheet includes six (6) labels, measuring approximately 2.5" x 1.75" each. Labels are sold by the sheet and must be cut apart before sewing.
Choose from 100% cotton or soft polyester fabric, both permanently printed with rich, fade-resistant ink for lasting beauty wash after wash.
Cotton Label Feature
Cotton labels include a temporary HeatnBond backing.
This helps reduce fraying when cutting and allows you to temporarily fuse the label in place while stitching, making it easier to position the label neatly before sewing it permanently onto your quilt.
Label Care Instructions
Label Care Instructions
- Cotton Labels: Wash on delicate with cold water. Hang to dry or use a low setting. Avoid high heat to preserve print. Not fully colorfast.
- Polyester Labels: No special care needed. Machine washable, fade-proof, and long-lasting.
Cotton vs. Polyester Comparison
Cotton vs. Polyester Comparison
🌿 Cotton (Sew-On) — Recommended
Classic quilting cotton look and feel. Soft, thin, and easy to sew by hand or machine. Best for heirloom, bed, or display quilts with gentle care.
👉 If unsure, choose cotton.
✨ Polyester (Sew-On)
Not quilting cotton. Thicker, non-stretch fabric with a soft, fuzzy (suede-like) feel. Extremely durable and fade-proof. Great for baby quilts, kids’ quilts, and frequent washing. Do not choose if you want a traditional cotton look.
Quilt Label Application
Quilt Label Application
- Cotton Labels: Backed with HeatnBond Featherlight. Temporarily holds label in place while sewing. To reduce fraying, fold edges under before stitching.
- Polyester Labels: Trim and sew directly onto your quilt. Optional to fold edges under—extra fabric is included for that.
