Description

Celebrate a special little one with this adorable personalized dinosaur quilt label featuring the phrase “Let the World Hear You Roar.” With its sweet blue dinosaur design and custom name and year, this label is perfect for baby quilts, toddler quilts, kids’ quilts, dinosaur-themed quilts, nursery gifts, and handmade keepsake blankets.

Personalize your label with the maker’s name and year to create a meaningful finishing touch for your handmade quilt. Each label measures approximately 3" x 3" and is available in sheets of 2 or 4 labels.

This flat sew-on quilt label is designed to be sewn onto the surface of your quilt, adding a personal keepsake detail without sewing it into a seam or binding.

Cotton Label Feature

Cotton labels include a temporary HeatnBond backing. This helps reduce fraying when cutting and allows you to temporarily fuse the label in place while stitching, making it easier to position the label neatly before sewing it permanently onto your quilt.

Great For

Dinosaur baby quilts, kids’ quilts, birthday quilts, handmade nursery gifts, toddler blankets, grandchild quilts, and personalized quilt keepsakes.

Label Care Instructions

  • Cotton Labels: Wash on delicate with cold water. Hang to dry or use a low setting. Avoid high heat to preserve print. Not fully colorfast.
  • Polyester Labels: No special care needed. Machine washable, fade-proof, and long-lasting.

Quilt Label Application

  • Cotton Labels: Backed with HeatnBond Featherlight. Temporarily holds label in place while sewing. To reduce fraying, fold edges under before stitching.

  • Polyester Labels: Trim and sew directly onto your quilt. Optional to fold edges under—extra fabric is included for that.

Cotton vs. Polyester Comparison

🌿 Cotton (Sew-On) — Recommended

Classic quilting cotton look and feel. Soft, thin, and easy to sew by hand or machine. Best for heirloom, bed, or display quilts with gentle care.

👉 If unsure, choose cotton.

✨ Polyester (Sew-On)

Not quilting cotton. Thicker, non-stretch fabric with a soft, fuzzy (suede-like) feel. Extremely durable and fade-proof. Great for baby quilts, kids’ quilts, and frequent washing. Do not choose if you want a traditional cotton look.
