Description

Add the perfect finishing touch to your handmade quilt with this sweet and meaningful quilt label. Featuring a colorful quilted heart design and the phrase “handmade with love,” this label beautifully showcases the care that went into your creation.

Personalized with the maker’s name, it turns every quilt into a treasured keepsake.

Designed for quilters who want a clean, professional look, this label is easy to sew onto the back of your quilt for a lasting, heartfelt signature.

Product Details:

  • Personalized with maker’s name
  • Each label measures approximately 3" x 1.5"
  • Features a colorful quilted heart illustration
  • Elegant “handmade with love” script design
  • Available in cotton or polyester

Cotton Option:
Printed on high-quality cotton fabric with Featherweight HeatnBond applied to the back. This provides a light, temporary hold to keep your label in place while sewing. It is not a permanent adhesive.

How to Use:
Position your label on the quilt backing and stitch around all edges to secure it permanently.

A beautiful way to sign your quilts, perfect for gifts, heirloom pieces, and memory quilts.

Cotton vs. Polyester Comparison

🌿 Cotton (Sew-On) — Recommended

Classic quilting cotton look and feel. Soft, thin, and easy to sew by hand or machine. Best for heirloom, bed, or display quilts with gentle care.

👉 If unsure, choose cotton.

✨ Polyester (Sew-On)

Not quilting cotton. Thicker, non-stretch fabric with a soft, fuzzy (suede-like) feel. Extremely durable and fade-proof. Great for baby quilts, kids’ quilts, and frequent washing. Do not choose if you want a traditional cotton look.

Quilt Label Application

  • Cotton Labels: Backed with HeatnBond Featherlight. Temporarily holds label in place while sewing. To reduce fraying, fold edges under before stitching.

  • Polyester Labels: Trim and sew directly onto your quilt. Optional to fold edges under—extra fabric is included for that.

Label Care Instructions

  • Cotton Labels: Wash on delicate with cold water. Hang to dry or use a low setting. Avoid high heat to preserve print. Not fully colorfast.
  • Polyester Labels: No special care needed. Machine washable, fade-proof, and long-lasting.
