Intrigue PDF Quilt Pattern – Villa Rosa Designs

A clever little twist on traditional patchwork that's sure to catch your eye!

Create a beautiful quilt full of visual interest with the Intrigue PDF Quilt Pattern by Villa Rosa Designs! This eye-catching design uses framed squares and clever block placement to create a playful optical illusion that makes some blocks appear larger than others.

The magic of Intrigue is in its arrangement! As the framed blocks are turned in different directions, they create movement and dimension throughout the quilt. The result is a striking patchwork design that looks more complicated than you might expect.

Best of all, Intrigue is both fat quarter and Layer Cake friendly! Use 12 fat quarters or 36 precut 10" squares for the frames, along with coordinating fabric for the block centers.

Choose bold modern prints for a dramatic quilt, pretty florals for a softer look, or traditional quilting cottons for a timeless patchwork design. Intrigue is a wonderful way to showcase your favorite fabric collection while experimenting with color, contrast, and placement.

Finishing at 54" x 72", this versatile quilt makes a lovely throw, lap quilt, or thoughtful handmade gift.

Whether you're looking for a creative way to use a favorite Layer Cake or simply enjoy quilts with interesting geometric designs, Intrigue is sure to keep your sewing room inspired!
