Perfect stitches? Not in this house—and we wouldn’t have it any other way. These personalized quilt labels celebrate the joy of handmade, wonky seams and all. Whether you’re gifting your latest masterpiece or keeping it cozy at home, these little tags say exactly what we’re all thinking: nailed it... sorta.

Each sheet includes six “Made with Love Not Perfection” labels that are ready to sew into your project (or lovingly slap on the back with a wink). Choose between classic cotton or cozy polyester—either way, you’re stitching on a whole lot of personality.

  • Printed on an 8.5″×11″ sheet with six ~2.5″×1.5″ labels, perfectly sized for quilt backs, bags, or crafty chaos

  • Cotton option includes Heat’n’Bond backing—to hold you label in place while you attach it to your quilt. Just fold over the edges, stitch, and pretend you measured.Natural, cotton with a classic look. 

  • Polyester version is soft brushed, fade-proof, and fray-resistant (aka future-you’s best friend) Best for quilts that will undergo frequent washing or heavy use. Permanently printed and fade-proof.  Perfect for gifting, ensuring the label remains intact and vibrant over time.

Every Jammin Threads item is stitched, pressed, and prepped by real humans (hi! 👋) in our in-house studios.

Because everything is personalized, please allow 3–5 business days for us to create your order.

When it’s ready, we ship it straight from Kentucky or Illinois, depending on which shop is jamming that day.

Shipping time starts after the 3–5 day creation window.

Cotton vs. Polyester Comparison

🌿 Cotton (Sew-On) — Recommended

Classic quilting cotton look and feel. Soft, thin, and easy to sew by hand or machine. Best for heirloom, bed, or display quilts with gentle care.

👉 If unsure, choose cotton.

✨ Polyester (Sew-On)

Not quilting cotton. Thicker, non-stretch fabric with a soft, fuzzy (suede-like) feel. Extremely durable and fade-proof. Great for baby quilts, kids’ quilts, and frequent washing. Do not choose if you want a traditional cotton look.

Quilt Label Application

  • Cotton Labels: Backed with HeatnBond Featherlight. Temporarily holds label in place while sewing. To reduce fraying, fold edges under before stitching.

  • Polyester Labels: Trim and sew directly onto your quilt. Optional to fold edges under—extra fabric is included for that.

Label Care Instructions

  • Cotton Labels: Wash on delicate with cold water. Hang to dry or use a low setting. Avoid high heat to preserve print. Not fully colorfast.
  • Polyester Labels: No special care needed. Machine washable, fade-proof, and long-lasting.
