Description

Because we all know the truth.

This hilarious personalized quilt label reads:

“Made with love, wine & lots of cussing.”
“If this winds up in a thrift store I will haunt you forever.”

Personalized with the maker’s name, this label is the perfect finishing touch for quilts made with equal parts heart and stubborn determination.

Perfect for:

  • Gift quilts for family (who better not donate it 😆)
  • Friends who appreciate sarcasm
  • Memory quilts
  • Anyone who understands the struggle

Each sheet includes 6 fabric labels that are printed and must be cut apart before sewing onto the quilt surface.

✨ Details:

  • 6 labels per sheet
  • Each label measures approximately 3" x 1.75"
  • Personalized with maker’s name
  • Available in cotton or polyester
  • Printed on a sheet and must be cut apart
  • Designed to be sewn onto the quilt surface

Because some quilts are heirlooms… and some come with a warning label.

Cotton vs. Polyester Comparison

🌿 Cotton (Sew-On) — Recommended

Classic quilting cotton look and feel. Soft, thin, and easy to sew by hand or machine. Best for heirloom, bed, or display quilts with gentle care.

👉 If unsure, choose cotton.

✨ Polyester (Sew-On)

Not quilting cotton. Thicker, non-stretch fabric with a soft, fuzzy (suede-like) feel. Extremely durable and fade-proof. Great for baby quilts, kids’ quilts, and frequent washing. Do not choose if you want a traditional cotton look.

Quilt Label Application

  • Cotton Labels: Backed with HeatnBond Featherlight. Temporarily holds label in place while sewing. To reduce fraying, fold edges under before stitching.

  • Polyester Labels: Trim and sew directly onto your quilt. Optional to fold edges under—extra fabric is included for that.

Label Care Instructions

  • Cotton Labels: Wash on delicate with cold water. Hang to dry or use a low setting. Avoid high heat to preserve print. Not fully colorfast.
  • Polyester Labels: No special care needed. Machine washable, fade-proof, and long-lasting.
