Description

Add a beautiful finishing touch to your handmade quilt with this personalized corner quilt label featuring the phrase “You’re one of a kind and so is this quilt.”

Designed to fit perfectly into the corner of a quilt, this label is customized with the recipient’s name, the maker’s name, and the year, creating a meaningful keepsake that records who the quilt was made for and who lovingly created it.

Corner quilt labels are a popular choice for quilters because they integrate seamlessly into the quilt binding, creating a polished and professional finish while becoming part of the quilt design.

The label begins as a square and is folded diagonally to create a triangle that fits neatly into the quilt corner.

Label Care Instructions

  • Cotton Labels: Wash on delicate with cold water. Hang to dry or use a low setting. Avoid high heat to preserve print. Not fully colorfast.
  • Polyester Labels: No special care needed. Machine washable, fade-proof, and long-lasting.

Quilt Label Application

  • Cotton Labels: Backed with HeatnBond Featherlight. Temporarily holds label in place while sewing. To reduce fraying, fold edges under before stitching.

  • Polyester Labels: Trim and sew directly onto your quilt. Optional to fold edges under—extra fabric is included for that.

Cotton vs. Polyester Comparison

🌿 Cotton (Sew-On) — Recommended

Classic quilting cotton look and feel. Soft, thin, and easy to sew by hand or machine. Best for heirloom, bed, or display quilts with gentle care.

👉 If unsure, choose cotton.

✨ Polyester (Sew-On)

Not quilting cotton. Thicker, non-stretch fabric with a soft, fuzzy (suede-like) feel. Extremely durable and fade-proof. Great for baby quilts, kids’ quilts, and frequent washing. Do not choose if you want a traditional cotton look.
