Each label is personalized with the maker’s name, making it a special signature that will stay with the quilt for years to come. With charming butterfly and ladybug accents, this label is perfect for baby quilts, nursery quilts, and treasured handmade gifts.

These labels are printed on high-quality cotton or polyester fabric, allowing them to be sewn securely onto the back of a quilt for a professional and lasting finish.

To make placement easier, Featherweight HeatnBond is applied to the back of the label. This allows the label to be temporarily ironed in place while you sew, helping prevent shifting during stitching. The adhesive is not intended to permanently attach the label.

🌿 Cotton (Sew-On) — Recommended

Classic quilting cotton look and feel. Soft, thin, and easy to sew by hand or machine. Best for heirloom, bed, or display quilts with gentle care.

✨ Polyester (Sew-On)

Not quilting cotton. Thicker, non-stretch fabric with a soft, fuzzy (suede-like) feel. Extremely durable and fade-proof. Great for baby quilts, kids’ quilts, and frequent washing. Do not choose if you want a traditional cotton look.
  • Cotton Labels: Backed with HeatnBond Featherlight. Temporarily holds label in place while sewing. To reduce fraying, fold edges under before stitching.

  • Polyester Labels: Trim and sew directly onto your quilt. Optional to fold edges under—extra fabric is included for that.
  • Cotton Labels: Wash on delicate with cold water. Hang to dry or use a low setting. Avoid high heat to preserve print. Not fully colorfast.
  • Polyester Labels: No special care needed. Machine washable, fade-proof, and long-lasting.

The number of labels included on each sheet depends on the design. The product variants will explicitly state the number of sheets and how many labels that will be.

All of our labels are different sizes depending on the design. Check the product description for specific label dimensions.

Cotton labels have a classic quilting cotton feel — soft, thin, and easy to sew by hand or machine. They come with HeatnBond Featherlight backing that temporarily holds the label in place while you stitch. Great for heirloom, bed, or display quilts.

Polyester labels are thicker with a soft, fuzzy feel (not a quilting cotton look). They're printed with permanent sublimation ink that won't fade or wash off, ever. No backing included — just trim and sew. These are built for quilts that get washed a lot, like baby or kids' quilts.

Your quilt labels will be printed on an 8.5" x 11" sheet ready for you to cut.

Both the cotton and polyester labels can be sewn directly onto your quilt, but there are a few tricks depending on your label material.

  • Cotton Labels: Backed with HeatnBond Featherlight. Temporarily holds label in place while sewing. To reduce fraying, fold edges under before stitching.
  • Polyester Labels: Trim and sew directly onto your quilt. Optional to fold edges under—extra fabric is included for that.
